Connect with your baby. Prepare for labor.

Pregnancy is a time of huge transformation when people have the chance to get in touch with their own power and strength. During this time, your body changes every day, and things that might feel good one day, on the next day, might not. Creating a connection with your body will help you read the signs it gives you, and understand the changes you are going through.

Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga is here to support you in this journey. Specially designed for the pregnant body, it will allow you to dive deep into yourself while still having a vigorous yoga practice. By connecting breath with movement, you will build up strength and endurance. You will embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-care. You will have tools to find comfort in your body while being strong and keeping your heart open. You will strengthen the connection to yourself and your baby. You will feel more confident and prepared for labor and parenthood. And lastly, building up a regular practice will promote an easier recovery from pregnancy and childbirth.

Following the principles of The Dolphin Method™ Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga, created by Jennifer More during her own pregnancy, and refined over her more than 20 years of experience working with pregnant people as a yoga teacher and doula, we will move through breathing exercises and yoga postures that will help in balancing out not only the structures around your uterus, your baby’s home for several months but also balancing your whole body, strengthening what needs to be strong and releasing what needs to be soft and open in order to encourage your baby find the optimal position and your body to be strong and open for childbirth.

You are encouraged to keep moving during all stages of your pregnancy, but please make sure you have your midwife or doctor’s clearance before practicing.
